Post Play Making
Barker Burau (バーカー局, Bākā Kyoku) is a Japanese basketball player of Turkish origin. He plays for Yōsen High.
He is tall and has a very muscular body, which makes him seem older than he is. He has half-long dark brown/black hair .His eyebrows are quite thick. He has a wide posture. He is the broadest player in the series, even broader than Jason Silver is. He wears the jersey number 9.
Barker is mature and kind to people. He is also very smart and plots usually something. In games, he takes it easy at first, but when his game-instinct kicks in, he is ruthless and very professional. In addition, his deep love for basketball is unique.
He came from Ankara, Turkey at the age of 14. After entering Yōsen High, he immediately rose to starting lineup. Aside from that, his past is still unclear.
He has a perfect shooting form. According to Kuroko, he gives off a feeling like the Generation of Miracles. Even Aomine could also tell in one glance that he is a quality player, which is notable coming from him. He is, together with Murasakibara and Himuro the "triple Ace" of Yōsen's team. He also outmuscles his opponents.
His unique size gives him the ability to play three positions at once.
Just like Kiyoshi, he has the ability to rebound the ball with one hand. However, the key to this is not the size of his hands rather his extremely trained hand muscles.
He has achieved this ability by watching basketball games. It helps him to further understand and predict his opponent and intercept him.
His defense is arguably the best in the league only rivaled by Murasakibara.
This is his signature move. He executes it perfectly. When facing a tough opponent like Kagami Taiga he shoots the ball way behind his head making it impossible to block. The ball follows a high arc.
Using his body to position between his defender and the ball, he shoot with his free hand (its trajectory looking like a "hook"), that is impossible to block.
With his height, he can shoot untouchable floaters.
With his developed muscular structure he can power through most positions also rebound and dunk without any injuries.
Post Play Making
He can make high-level plays at post and not failing any one of them. Most centers are hesitant to face him because his plays are very aggressive sometimes leading to a defensive foul.
This was not showed too much because he entered it only once in the last seconds of a match against Rakuzan High. He did a fade away then the match was finished in favor of Rakuzan.
